The mama behind these herbal creations

Hi

I am so pleased you are here to witness all the creations I have made.

I am a South African wild mama- born in rural Limpopo with a magical childhood filled with wild - and I mean truly wild adventures with my family. We loved being in the bush!

I have always enjoyed making beautiful things from natural ingredients and it was the year my first baby was born (2015) that Mystic Fox Mama was born too as I was very inspired by doing things more holistically and all things rooted and wild. I was only using natural body and baby products and eventually made my own products here and there. I have also always had a mystical sense and hunger for plant knowledge and was filling up with information and visual inspiration weaved into motherhood. I witnessed a lot of tree and plant wisdom passed around by my father and grandmother. When I spent a lot of time with my own mother I always felt encouraged and supported which created this dream of one day having my own little shop where I can make beautiful potions and herbal goodies to share.

For years I have been delving into herbalism books and courses and built my foundation from the numerous synchronised encounters I keep having with the people around me and the plant spirits.
As I moved around from South Africa to England - East Anglia to the North Peninnes (where I dwell now with my husband and 3 wildlings) I have found this deep gratitude for the opportunity I have in this life to freely forage and create delicious herbal concoctions and potions - I must have been a witch back then!

Why create these lovely products: The magic of the plants have been with me throughout pregnancies and my recent free-birth and postpartum - with deep nourishment and feeling so held and loved. But truly it is through fellow mamas and loving sisterhood that I know what mamas and women need out there to feel a bit more nourished. So with that I get to keep going and keep making and creating these seasonal earth based products.

And if you are wondering why the name Mystic Fox Mama?
Well: Bakoorjakkals aka the Bat- eared fox - a rare southern african fox with very big ears. (My nickname was bakoorjakkals when i was little as I was all ears!!)
